Three years have passed since we last saw eachother yet i feel like it was only yesterday we were talking about christmas and our plans and having loads of fun like always.

The other day i heard Mariah Carey's All I Want for Christmas, and it reminded me of you. And the times when we used to sing it in Science; and Mr Curless would go  mad at us!!!

It also made me think about thee last time i saw you andd how happy you was. Makes me feel really bad, because you said you would meet me later on saturday. But i was soo hectic at work, and forgot about it. I feel really awful, because i never texted you on that saturday to ask if you had a good night, or got home safely. i suppose i'd never even think that anything as bad as this could ever happen to you.
I miss you so much, and if i had the chance to go back in time, i would have texted you and made sure you was alright. 
I hope that you are at peace now and are happy in heaven. i can just imagine you now, all beautiful and in white! I can just see you flirting with the male angels too!! Fluttering your eyelashes!!

Hi floss, its that horrible time of year again for us all and thinking about you right now is breaking my heart, so many things have happened to me and you havnt been there with me and it kills me.


 i had my 21st birthday recently and even tho i had a really good day something was missing and it was you! i lit a candle for you to show you were there with me.  another year goes by and its still the same. i still cannot accept that you are gone, just feels like i havnt seen you in a long time! i dont want to accept that you are gone cuz thats when it becomes real!! of all the people in this world why has it happened to you, why are you not living your dreams like the rest of us?  

i just hope with all my heart that where you are is a much brighter place than here and i hope you are doing what you love best and thats singing with your beautiful voice! although you have to live your live as normal it just isnt the same.  there is no-one in this world that will ever compare to you.  sounds funny but i remember when we was little we loved the spice girls and there back now ha! theyve got a new song and its called friendship never ends, thats how id describe me and you, best friends forever.

 Its Potten's 21st tomorrow, havent really catched up with her for ages but i'm going to her birthday, and i'm sure you will be there with us all too.

Hey hun its all odd and still cant believe this has al happened!!!

We spoke briefly on friday the 10th and after reading here i do remember now how you told me you where going out that night because we both said we may meet each other in town and that it be a good chance to catch up and how we should try to get people together for kinda joint reunion/ xmas and my 18th kinda outing in a few weeks.

Then the bus came and you had to go into work cus u where running late and we both smiled and said b ye and had a hug!!

That is my last memory of you and i miss the little chats we had in the mornings!!

You will always be in my memory and the writings and pictures i have of us will always be there to remind me of you and your friendliness, kindness and general madness of you being you!

I will always remember Lauren as being so very pretty and really happy. She had a special presence about her that would light up a room and bring a smile to my face. She was so much fun but could be a bit cheeky and mischievous too. She was very kind and caring. I will treasure my special memories of her when she was a young child with Emma, Paul, Gary and Ryan playing so happily and carefree together. The special times spent at the park in Northampton. We would see the squirrels, get an ice cream, the young days were so simple and happy but so much fun. Lauren would often plod along at her own pace and do a cumbersome stumble to catch up. Ron and Bridget always made our visits and sleepovers so welcoming and enjoyable. They are really truly brilliant parents and have a wonderful family. My last memories of Lauren which are so special were our visit after Christmas 2003. Lauren was so full of life. She had now become a beautiful young lady but still had so much sweetness and innocence. She was still silly and really funny making my tummy hurt from laughing so much from the fun she was having making some most interesting sound effects from a whoopee cushion!!!!Knowing Lauren you can understand the giggles and cheeky beautiful smiley face.
She was a real Daddy's girl and a very special Flossy.
I am so very pleased and privileged to have known Lauren. I wish there could be some sense or reason why she is not here . Things happened for a reason but this is so unfair and I can not understand why this has happened to such a very special and girl and her really lovely family. 
May you rest in peace Lauren you are far too special to ever be forgotton. x x Close

Just wanted to say i miss you loads, and always thinking of you! I met up with Michelle last month, as it was her bday, and she has a little girl now called keira shes a year old. You would love her, shes so cute!  I know your looking down on us all, and we are always thinking of you and will never forget you. We all have the greatest and most precious memories of you, all the fun times we had together. I will, and know all your friends will treasure them, till we next see you.
I have a picture of you in my room, with the best friend necklace you gave me, and you kept the other half and it always makes me smile :)

its taken me so long to be able to write this yet i still don't know what to write, other than i miss you so much.

Its still hard to accept that you've gone but we all find peace knowing we will be with you one day.

My heart goes out to you. I lost my 14 year old daughter following a fall last June, she was my life, my everything. It's just such a waste. I also started a website in her memory and the messages left by her friends bring me great comfort.

I never knew Lauren or her family but when i stumbled across this sight, It captured me.

This is a truly touching tribute to someone who seemed to be light of everyones life.

I know that if my family ever made anything like this for me if something this tragic were to happen to me... I would be so proud, so touched, and so happy to have ever been a part of a family like yours!!

WHen Lauren came to Howth, the year before that terrible accident, she was simply stunning, not just her inate beauty shone through but warmth radiated out from her.  All of us in Howth, her cousins of one sort or another, never dreamt that such a shocking tradegy would befall Bridget & Ron , Emma and Paul and dear Auntie Madge ( Lauren's gran), and the rest of the family.  It seemed so so unfair that such really good people should have to suffer so, and that the world should be deprived as one as lovely and special as Lauren.  
  As I write here in my office in the garden I have Lauren's memorial photos on my window, where they always are.  Some of these photos were taken here in Howth on that holiday.  In my eyeline always and next to her the a picture if my uncle Joe, her wonderful grandad. Truth to tell I often talk to them both as they sit side by side they sit, smiling.

Smile on us on all, but especially on Bridget, Ron, Emma and Paul from where you are now..... somewhere over the rainbow.

What a beautiful site for the most beautiful girl.  Such a brave, honest, dignified way of honouring the wonderful Flossy.  The hackneyed words ' a terrible waste of life' cannot begin to describe how I feel but they are all I have. hi lauren, i was just reading your site and about your life, you kind of remind me alot of me when i was your age, that wasnt so long ago now! reading your tributes from your friends an family shows you were loved so much hun, you seemed so happy go lucky, with so much ahead of you. im so sorry you had to become an angel so soon, my little ollie is up thier with you too, i geuss your both smiling down on us mums, laughing at our tears even!

to all laurens family, keep strong, i know how hard it is, and i cant say time is a great healer, because 17 years of lauren will take more than eternity to heal. every tear that falls is a memory of her. so if its forever that you grieve then so be it.
