Born in Princess Alexandra Hospital, Harlow, Essex, on Thursday 26th February 1987 at 18.36 on her sister Emmas 3rd birthday, the youngest of our 3 children, Lauren completed our family. We were so happy.

Lauren's 1st birthday (and Emma's 4th birthday). I always made their birthday cakes when they were small. Lauren's was a tea party theme.

Lauren joined Emma and Paul at Abington Vale Lower School and was there until she was 9. Teachers who remembered Lauren from Lower School came to her funeral - she was so well loved and remembered.

Died of cardiac arrest on the operating table at Northampton General Hospital on Saturday December 11th, 2004 at 1831 at the age of 17. Our family was destroyed.
Her funeral took place on 27th January 2005.

In Lauren's memory .....
In November 2006 the Lauren Eley Centre for Music & Art is opened in a small village in Thailand which had been devastated by the Boxing Day Tsunami 2004.
